Winter Frontenac Park hike - Randonnee d'hiver au park Frontenac

Sunday was a sunny and cold day. We decided not to go too far from home for a hike. We haven't yet been in Frontenac park in the winter, so it sounded like a good idea. We did about 13 km which felt like 20... the snow coverage was just enough to hide the ground but not enough to smooth it out, making the walk tiring. It was still a nice day and we have the satisfaction of being outside.

Surprise of the week, our new hens started laying...after a couple month of store bought eggs we have eaten our last factory eggs for the next few years. For our pre-hike breakfast we both had a home grown egg and a store egg, can you tell which is which?
